Pete's owned the Jeep since 1972 and is in the process of restoring it after it spent 14 years in storage.
The JEEP was developed as a light field car for military use just prior to WWII, but it came to be known for many more applications. After the war, Jeep was adapted to industrial and agricultural use... but then folks discovered the FUN, of a 'Utility' vehicle, and thus the "SPORT UTILITY" was born! Everyone else is just trying to be like a JEEP! Pete can sell you a brand new Jeep Wrangler, Liberty, or Gr. Cherokee... It's a REAL WORLD.... you should drive the REAL THING!
